Chemical Warfare one

"Oh this one caused a lot of trouble. First off this particular Rei happens to share a fashion sense with another very unpleasant to be around Ayanami variant, who goes by Bloody Lily, but that's apparently a complete coincidence. Anyhow this little ball of sunshine made her appearance in Chicago, though she was looking a bit different at the time I'll cover that in a bit. Ended up giving us quite a fight, though she eventually gave herself up.

After that she was brought in for the usual interview she identified herself as using the codename Hyde 01 and being part of Chemical Warfare. According to her they used to be part of a larger group, called Panther Claw but they jumped ship along with a few of the higher ups, and mostly worked as mercs. From what she told us her group is almost an evil version of the Gamma Guardians, it's apparently her, and analogs of Asuka, Mari, and Shinji, led by a cybernetic telepathic Ranma who's job mostly consists of keeping them from going completely nuts due to the side effects of their powers. And as a note, judging from how she reacted to Hikari she's not on good terms with the local version.

The difference comes since this group uses a kind of high end mutation inducing combat drug (which she was actually in the grips of when she showed up, she gave up when the stuff wore off and we managed to keep her from juicing up again, she had a couple of emergency hits on her). We've sent a sample to the lab people, so far they haven't been able to figure out everything in the stuff, though they've found enough to figure out it must be one weird verse this girl comes from to get all of that stuff together, and find people insane enough to infect it into themselves. Apparently they also have nanobots or some magic that works the same, since the subject's clothes pretty much formed around her as soon as she was back in normal form for a while, she wasn't wearing a heck of a lot in her...well she called it her Hyde form I'm not sure anyone managed to photograph that, we sure weren't letting her get to her gear, which besides an emergency dose of the serum included a pair of brass knuckles, and a small ceramic knife she had hidden in her tie.

We were holding her at Stronghold's detainment center but when she started displaying some severe health issues she was transfered...or would have been if her team mates hadn't shown up and attacked the convoy. They managed to get away, it looked like they were ported out of there, we're not sure by who yet but I'd guess they've already go someone interested in hiring them. Not looking forward to seeing her again I can say that much.
