Neo-Gladitor Hikari

"You know I'm beginning to wonder if someone's mad at me. First I have to talk about that Bane version of me and now this....Anyhow here you see Namorita aka Hikari Hokari of Hercules Shinji's Neo Gladiators team. And I know it's not really my business but I do wish she believed a little more in clothes, I know my costume isn't the most modest around but really....It's so embarssing whenever she's around....actually thinking about it the NeoGladitors in general don't seem to believe in wearing a lot, particularly their Asuka, I think my belt has more material then her whole costume...anyway moving on she isn't actually a natural human Atlantian mix like most the Submarine types. For what we're able to tell she's a product of genetic engineering, apparantly she was born with some rather nasty health problems (she won't specifcy) and she ended up being the subject of her parents human enchanment project (apparantly it was yet another super solider program, but they were trying to make amphibious troops this time.) which worked but she ended up being their first and last sucess. Apparantly she wasn't supposed to be able to fly...and I'm sorry to digress again but how do those foot wings work anyhow? I know a lot of people with that feature and it's always bothered me. Doesn't help know of them seem to know either, I know it's always bothered Ranma (that's the Submariner R Ranma of course) especially since his dad can still fly at his size...Then again I'm not even sure how I can fly, and I've been doing it for years...sometimes I think I really don't have the right mind of superheroics....

Anyhow power wise our subject is about what you'd expect, can fly, breath underwater, survive in the deep waters, and see down there, super strength and to a lesser extent speed (particularly if she's under water) near bullet proof but has a real problem with fire. She does have the dehydration problem but she doesn't suffer from the usual bouts of insanity if she spends too much time on land, she just gets weaker, though she can reverse that by either drinking a lot of water or diving into the nearest lake.

She's also Hercules's girlfriend, apparantly the two of them ran as a duo for a while before they met the rest of their team, though they apparantly ended up fighting the first time they met each other, basically they were both solo heroes at the time, got tricked into it. Still that's much better then how me and my Shinji got started....I still have pangs of guilt about that....damn Seele... Sorry I seem to be having a hard time focusing tonight.

Anyhow I actually keep in contact with her regularly, apparantly they're currently checking out the south, Shinji's really wanting to give the super human wrestling league a try, and well apparently she's game. Good luck to them and their team mates, here's hoping the rumors the the NSO is funding that and planning on making a return to the villainy scene are false, I've dealt with that bunch and I'm in no hurry to have to again, no way Misato wouldn't get involved even if the Gladiators could probably handle it."

(art provided again by I dunno why I decided to have Martian Hikari be the speaker for this one, her being embarassed that there's a version of her that dresses like this seemed pretty fitting, and her not being able to stay on topic in places, particularly since both she and this Hikari are dating a Shinji Analog and she's still got some lingering guilt about how their relationship started out, what with her being a press ganged spy in her early hero career. Her brief digression on the foot wings...well yeah I've wondered how that works too, might get to be a running joke really.)
